Fire Restrictions
Stage 1 and Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are put in place to assist land management agencies reduce fire risk and prevent wildfires during periods of HIGH to EXTREME fire danger.
Wildfire Prevention
On average, 80% of wildfires are human-caused and 100% preventable. Top causes include illegal debris burning, unattended and/or illegal campfires, dragging trailer chains, and hot vehicles/equipment operating or parked in dry grass. We all have a role in how the fire season plays out; please do your part to prevent wildfires!
